Human Resources Summer Student


Type of Position: Summer

The Human Resources student supports the Human Resources Manager in general human resources responsibilities.

Responsibilities of the Position

  • Recruitment: responsible for maintaining the careers inbox, shortlisting candidates and checking references;
  • New Employees: help with orientation, and maintain and update relevant spreadsheets;
  • Training: track training and schedule training sessions;
  • Filing: ensuring all employee files are kept up to date; and
  • Other administrative tasks as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Currently studying within a Business Administration program majoring in Human Resources Management, or Human Resources Management Graduate certificate;
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.7 or greater;
  • Excellent attention to detail; and
  • Demonstrates initiative, self-direction and motivation.
