Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, field-based

Job Location: Various locations globally

We are hiring a fixed wing AME who would travel for rotational field work around the world and can be based anywhere in Canada. Our fleet includes: C208 Caravans, a DHC-6 Twin Otter, BN2 Islanders, DA42 Twin Stars and AS350 helicopters.

Responsibilities of the Position

  • Maintain the company aircraft at various field locations;
  • Carry out maintenance tasks as directed in accordance with the Maintenance Policy Manual and Transport Canada regulations, within the scope of license, capabilities, and authority;
  • Confer with the Maintenance Manager(s) and Field Crew Chief to identify aircraft, shop and field maintenance issues and to discuss maintenance requirements and problems;
  • Assist as required to ensure the timely completion of company, customer and regulatory audits; and,
  • Ensure a safe working environment while maintaining a positive attitude toward personal and professional growth.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with an “M1” licence;
  • Experience on C208 and DHC-6 and BN2 aircraft a definite asset;
  • Knowledgeable understanding of Canadian Aviation Regulations;
  • Willingness to travel on short notice and for extended periods;
  • Valid passport and driver's licence;
  • Ability to obtain Transport Canada restricted area pass; and
  • Available to work after hours occasionally as required.
